Go

The classic board game Go. The objective is to surround a larger total area of the board with your stones than the opponent.

Set your stone on any intersection of the board to begin the game. Alternate turns with your opponent, placing one stone per turn. Surround your opponent's stones completely to remove them from the board. Command more area than your opponent by the end of the game to succeed. Utilize strategy to prevent your opponent's moves while increasing your own territory. Note that stones are fixed once placed, unless captured. Play concludes when both players pass their turns consecutively, indicating no more actions can benefit either side.
